Log Cabins

Stay in a cabin!

Our Log Cabins can accommodate groups for a fun & unique overnight stay.

Your group doesn't have to stay overnight in our Chesapeake Lodge to get the full benefits of our group package. If they prefer a more outdoorsy experience, our cabins located in the Pioneer Campground and RV Park are a great option.

Log Cabins: Open year round

Most of our Log Cabins measure 27′ x 14’7″, with a 6′ porch. One handicap-accessible cabin is available. There is a set of bunk beds in one room, a living area with a futon, a separate bedroom with a double bed and a loft with 2 single beds. Each cabin sleeps a maximum of 8 people (that’s putting 2 people on a futon so they should be little ones!) and includes a large full bathroom. Each has A/C and heat, and a kitchen unit with a refrigerator/freezer, 2-burner stove, microwave, sink and table with 4 chairs. All linens are included. Kitchen supplies are provided. Charcoal grill and picnic table are available on site.

Rustic Cabins: Open May 1 – October 31

We really do mean RUSTIC. It's a step up from bringing a tent!
Our original rustic cabins are air-conditioned and can sleep a maximum of 6 people and include a very small bathroom (toilet, shower stall, wash basin). One room has a queen bed; the other room has 2 sets of bunk beds. No linens, kitchen facilities or housekeeping services are provided. Charcoal grill, fire ring, and picnic table are available on site.

We are very blessed by the staff at Sandy Cove. Everyone is so friendly and courteous. This was our first year in a log cabin (after 23 years) and it is very nice! Thank you for the supplies and conveniences that are provided. See you next year!  - Family Camp, Summer 2015

The cabins were a perfect fit for me, my wife, and our two small children! Peters Family, 4th of July Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed all the sporting options on-site, including the REC room and basketball courts, etc. The cabin was also really nice and well kept. Thanks for having us and God bless. 4th of July Weekend 2015
